This two hour workshop will introduce newer students to the basics: vocabulary, history, philosophy, postures, biomechanics, alignment principles, and breathing techniques of yoga. With the patience and support of a Gentle/Restorative instructor, this workshop will provide a safe and comfortable environment for you to begin your journey. Existing practitioners also welcomed and encouraged; refine your practice and brush up on your yoga knowledge! There will be time to ask questions, meet new people, and a chance for individual class time with the instructor. Although a room of unfamiliar people and postures can be intimidating, it doesn't have to stop your practice! BYOB- BRING YOUR OWN BLOCKS, BALLS and BLANKETS
Let’s play on our mats together! This two hour fun filled workshop begins with energy shifting breath work and invigorating movement that helps build the needed strength and mobility for the foundations of a yoga practice. We will breakdown yoga poses into manageable progressions with the use of block, blankets and therapy balls. We will also connect with body blind spots - those areas that overworked, misused or a little disconnected so that we can fully experience our body’s potential. We end our practice together with meditation and relaxation techniques to fully integrate the effects of our practice.

MATLESS MOVEMENT WORKSHOP
Do you ever play with ways to get up from the floor? One of the first things we learn as a child is to roll over, crawl and get ourselves up to standing. This movement fundamental is sometimes lost in our sedentary lives. This workshop explores moving the body in new and different ways to support functional movement, your yoga practice and your connection with your inner strength. This workshop is all about strengthening and engaging muscles by using gravity and the floor as your foundation. We will play using blankets, resistance bands, straps, and therapy balls! Get ready to have some fun off your mat!
This virtual weekend workshop is designed to dive deep into yourself and discover what self limiting beliefs are holding you back from discovering your true identity. This series uses the yamas and niyamas as tools of self discovery. Each session will include vinyasa flow, lecture and philosophy discussion, meditation and self growth opportunities in a healing environment. We create a collective of souls uniting for healing ourselves, healing each other and healing the whole.
SHAKE IT OUT AND SHRUG IT OFF!
Do you carry a lot of tension or have stiffness in your neck and shoulders? Do your shoulders round forward and lift toward your ears? Do you sit at a desk all day? If this sounds like you, then this two-hour neck and shoulder integration workshop is a perfect solution. This workshop will include some neck and shoulder anatomy, myofascial release, some somatic exercises to connect basic neck and shoulder movement and a basic yoga sequence designed to release upper body tension. Participants will leave the workshop feeling more relaxed in their upper body and they will gain some foundational movements to shake it out and shrug it off when they are feeling tense!
YOGA TUNE UP CLASS SERIES
As a yoga tune up certified trainer, I offer yoga one hour yoga tune up classes that combine intention, breathwork, anatomy, modified yoga poses, myofascial release with therapy balls and savasana to work with the body in a an intimate way. Each class has a different focus including upper body, lower body, hips, shoulders and a full body yoga tune up.
Clearing your CHAKRAS to Channel Change
We all have 7 energy centers in our body running along the nerve ganglia which emanate from the spinal column. Sometimes these channels get out of balance and need to be cleared of their blockages. This 7 part virtual workshop explores each of our chakras through movement, chakra explanation, discussion, self reflection, meditation and intention.
